Ovation - 2014

Our 2014 OVATION is our first Cabernet harvest from Paso Robles. True to the appellation, this bordeaux blend wine is big, fruit forward and ready to drink now or in 10-15 years. Flavors of dark cherry and earthy plum on the palette and bright fruit and tobacco on the nose. The finish is long and smooth.

Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley 08

We are very excited about the release of our 2008 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.  The vineyard is located just off the Silverado Trail between Yountville and the Stags Leap District.  The wine has a bouquet of plums and currants layered with a hint of Mission fig.  The palate is lush with savory dark fruit and a bit of sweet oak and cedar.  The wine has been barrel aged in 100% French oak for two years and bottle aged for nearly three years.  You will enjoy the silky smooth soft tannins in this well balanced wine.  498 cases

Cabernet Sauvignon - Napa Valley 10

This 2010 Cabernet carries on our tradition of a single vineyard, 100% Cabernet. Aged for nearly 30 months in mostly new French Oak, this Cabernet has a nose of ripe plum and a touch of vanilla with soft blackberry notes and chewy, ripe tannins on the palate. The finish has a rich acid backbone which transitions into fine layers of baking spices and cocoa. This wine will age gracefully for another 15 years. 224 Cases

Merlot - Napa Valley 10

Th2010 was the first vintage of our Napa Valley Merlot. Classic in style, this wine has an earthy, dark cherry palate with a hint of chocolate. The nose has dark fruit, tobacco, and cherry. The tannins have a balanced structure and given the length of time on primarily new French oak, this wine will age for another 10-15 years. Best to lay this wine down for a year or two and pull out of the cellar for a very special occasion. 215 Cases

Ovation 08

For our 2008 Ovation, we decided to source our grapes from the highly acclaimed Alexander Valley appellation in Sonoma County.  This year we went with a three varietal Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.  The wine was aged for 25 months in French oak barrels, and you will taste the silky smooth tannins in the finish.  This is a complex fruit forward wine that displays that rich aroma of black cherry and tobacco for which the Alexander Valley is known.  The finish is long and smooth and this wine will age for 10 - 15 years.  224 cases
